Everyone who has read my blog knows my Springer Spaniel, Heidi Sweetface. She's going on 13 and she's slowed down so much, wants to be as near to me as possible and during the day I completely wear the poor sweetie out ...she will just get settled near my feet and I am up and dashing to the sewing machine or the card counter or the kitchen...and when she suddenly realizes I have moved she dashes about to find me. She collapses on the floor next to me, lapses into loud snoring, and I am off again to other places. Each night as I prepare for bed, there is my routine. I lock the patio door, turn off the two ceiling fans, shut off the TV, turn off the lights and head down the hall. Heidi left for the bedroom about the time I was doing the ceiling fan shut down. When I get to the bedroom, I find her, both front feet on the bed, patiently looking over her shoulder, waiting for me to hoist her back end up on the bed. Here is a picture of that very cute Heidi: Here too is a project I did for a challenge at Bitten By The Bug. We were to use the USA Tag off the Base Camp cartridge. So here you are, two photos, dog and dog tags....

Oh Carole Heidi is really a sweetface isn't she! She's gorgeous! That is such a sweet photo of her waiting for you to help her into bed!
I know what you mean about helping up on the bed. Our 10 year old sweet Annie pulled ligaments in her knee the first of the year and it was over three months healing. She couldn't jump or manuveer stairs very easily so we did a lot of helping up on the bed and she got to go out to the front yard instead of the back because of the stairs.
Oh Heidi looks too cute in that picture. I know what you mean about those little beings, my mom's dog is 10 years old and she doesn't want to be alone. Oh I almost forgot...the dog tags are awesome!
Look at Heidi Sweetface! She sure is sweet! I love your tags! Are they a BBTB challenge, or another challenge? If it's a BBTB challenge, I missed something!! Uh oh!

Oh isn't she the sweetest Carole.....what a cutie!!! Be glad you only have the one to make your every move....I have 2 dogs and 3 cats that have to be in the exact place I am at all times!!! LOL!!! HUGS!!
