Mind's Eye failed me...!!! I had this fabric that I purchased from the Sewing/Crafting Festival I attend each January. I saw a finished lap quilt in my mind's eye. Sadly I didn't have enough of this fabric to finish and so I grabbed up this n' that ... so I do have a lap quilt but it's more like a jumbled array of bright prints and colors. Needless to say, it isn't what I imagined but someone will find comfort to fling this over a cold lap.

In that huge stash of fabrics I was given, I found some delightful things.... This little quilt below is a spattering of little pieces that came together to make what I called My Lil' Zoo quilt. There wasn't a whole lot of the fabric with the cute little animal faces on it but nonetheless I sewed up some squares to make a cute wee-little quiltie for someone....probably a boy since this is in blues.
Jack and Jill went up the
hill To fetch a pail of water. Jack fell down and broke his
crown, And Jill came tumbling after.
I decided I wanted a cute gentle quilt...so I cut away the rhymes. Someone will like this, I am sure.
Thanks for visiting....

My sweet neighbor of almost 29 years is having her wonderful family over for Easter Dinner...she showed me some mason jars that will be filled with chocolate bunnies and of all things, edible green grass. I offered to make some jar covers with my embroidery machine. In one of my many designs, I found a boy bunny and girl bunny and that works out fine because there will be 4 of each at that Easter dinner. Here they are.... mason jar bunny covers.
Just so you all know I am not slouching around and eating bon-bons...!!!!!
