More and More Cut out Cricut Cards

Lots and lots and lots of cut out cards from my recently purchased Cricut cartridges. They are fun to create, ....a simple task of loading the cartridge, loading the paper and mat, select and cut...and then sit while it creates right in front of your eyes. The little side nick allows the perfect score mark to fold the card.  Then one has the choice of leaving the front of the card an open weave-work or placing a same-sized white (or color) backing. And most of the time I add a folded piece of white stationery paper for messaging. I usually emboss the front of each card which gives it a little texture.  Usually I add a little die cut to give the card a little bump up. These cards are fun and most of all allow me to use up the stacks and stashes, piles and shelves full of paper paper paper.  I am on a quest to whittle that down.  I may be 100 but I have a quest.  Please wish me well on the endeavor.

Wow, have you been busy, Carole! I get excited if I get 3 cards done quickly! lol What a great cartridge. Some of the most useful cards I've seen. You have a good start using up your paper. And I wish you well with that. I get excited when I use up a pack I've had for 10 years.
Hope you are feeling better and the heat isn't getting you down. Gabe made All-Stars so we are still doing baseball. Next week is our 1st game. There are games for a week (double elimination tournament) Then it's over. So he's having some intense practices. I'm having some intense uniform cleaning. So much mud! We have had a ton of rain. Today and tomorrow no rain just hot and humid.
Tomorrow is hubby's birthday and I still have another card to make for him.
Have a blessed rest of the week and weekend.
Hugs,
Steph

I'm a big fan of these types of cards too because sometimes you just need quick. lol Or I just need quick at times and these cards deliver that punch one needs. I have no doubt that you will be whittling down those paper pads Carol, you are a card making machine my friend! Now can I rub elbows with you?!! Maybe you will rub off on me. lol Keep up the great work! Hugs, Brenda
