Bee Happy
I have been so involved in replenishing my die cut trays that I haven't made any cards to share lately. Today I was doing Sizzix dies ...the bee in particular, with her cute fancy wings...and so I stopped what I was doing and made this card. I love this cotton ribbon. The bee hive, the leaf and the "be happy" are all from the Walk In My Garden Cricut cartridge.
BBTB Challenge
Our challenge from Regina was to use the Cricut Base Camp cartridge, we were to use the numbers in any formation, and the card was to be a New Year theme. I not only used the numbers on Base Camp for the 2008, but I cut out multiple HAPPY NEW YEAR letters which are placed all over the front of the card. Then.... I used a beautiful gold ribbon that came on one of my Christmas gifts. I love recylcling!!!

My Studio
I've reorganized my studio and I've organized my spare bedroom which also doubles as an office with 2 computers and a holding cell for all projects in motion, stacks of scrapbooking to do and finish, trays of cards to use and sell, and the armoire full of kits from classes. All in all I love my new "do"... here is a picture of the sign I just made for the Studio, a shot of the new die cut center where all of the dies are clustered right together (Sizzix, Cricut, Quickutz, Cuttlebug, Cuttlekids), a shot of the work center, a shot of one side of the closet. I had 8 foot shelves (5 in all) built, and a separate 22 inch shelf unit. All of my 20+ years of stash are neatly organized, sitting together in their respective crafts. Beading, Polymer Clays, Rubber Stamps, tools, papers....(well not all the papers, I have 4 other stashes of papers, who can have enough papers?) Let me know what you think. I LOVE MY STUDIO.

Altered Soup Can
This is the weekly challenge entry to Regina's BBTB site. Who knew a bunch of designer gals could have so much fun with a simple soup can. I am not a soup person, but my dog Heidi SweetFace loved lapping up the soup while I had a bunch of fun altering the outside with the Christmas Cheer and Joys Of The Season Cricut cartridges. Take a look at Regina's site, there are some awesome ideas feature. www.regina-bittenbythebug.blogspot.com

Precious Son and Darling Daughter in Law
My son and wife visited us at Thanksgiving and they brought their new puppy, Daisy, with them. I so enjoyed them being here. My dog, Heidi SweetFace, did NOT like Daisy visiting and I am sure she thought Daisy was there to take over the position of REIGNING LORDESS OF THE HOUSEHOLD. Brent works on TV shows, currently Women's Murder Club. Well, when the strike is over, that is. And Lee? What a cutie she is. She's been in movies, and TV and does TV commercials. Daisy? She is just precious with that spry look on her face and that tilted ear.

Santa's Suit
We had a challenge to accomplish at the Bitten By The Bug Site by Regina. It was to use the Santa Suit on the Christmas Cheer cartridge from Cricut. I instantly had my idea in my head and I went to work. This is the final creation. The site has some mighty gorgeous stuff on it with the designers for the site. I am soooooo proud to be one of the designers.

LunchBag
This is my entry for the challenge at Regina's Bitten By The Bug site. We were to use the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge from Cricut, and once the bag was cut we were to add rubber stamps. My stamped messages sort of get lost on the busy red floral paper. The red flower was cut from a larger patterned paper and glued on the smaller print. No matter how many digital photographs I took, not one properly showed the wonderful reds in this paper.
