BBTB2/PDDU/Pie

Happy Monday to all. This week our BBTB2 hostess is Krista who asked us to design from Paper Dolls Dress Up and to use the pie as our main decoration. PPDU has more little extra die cuts than I could possibly use but I do know that if I need a tiny little sumpin-sumpin for a design, that is the cart I look at first.
Here is my card: I cut the pie from PDDU, the apple as well as the card title are from Plantin Schoolbook. I found a little harlequin corner laying around so I added that in the upper left corner, and I embossed the card base with two different embossing designs. I found some squares of pre-backed pattern papers so I added those beneath the pie...The pie and apples are embossed as well. Apples have some red jewels for bling.

Thanks for visiting...and if you leave a comment, I will appreciate it. Join our challenge. Use Do a new design with a pie from any cartridge, link it to our BBTB2, and be sure to mention on your blog that you have joined our challenge. It's that wee bit of fame that we love to see.

Carole-This is just fantastic. The combination of papers you used is amazing. I can never decide what goes together. And all that embossing, I swear, you're the embossing queen. I usually get my card finished and then realize I forgot to emboss anything. Well done! Hugs, Jeri

Well, I'll take a slice o' that pie! I love the mixed embossing at how you used those scraps of paper. I have that self-adhesive mat stack from years ago and can never seem to figure out what to use it on. And there you go just slapping it on like it ain't no big deal! Love those cute little apples topping the pie!

Carole this is awesome. Would it be cliche to say it made me want strawberry pie? It really did. Of course I have never met a fruit pie that I didn't like!! Love the embossed (!) crust!! You rock!
