My Uncle informed me tonight that it is not the year Two Thousand and Ten, but it is being called Twenty Ten. Whatever we are to call it, I am astounded that we are 10 years away from the fretting that went on for Y2K. Could that have actually been ten years ago? To each of you who visit me on my humble little blog, I thank you. I am the "friend" of Carole's grade school friend who visited her a couple days ago. I am also the recipient of the beautiful cards Carole created with the "R" on them. It was wonderful meeting Carole, seeing all her handiwork, and her studio. Thanks again Carole- loved everything! You are amazing! Happy twenty-ten or two thousand 10, whatever you wish to call it!

If you think about it, he's right. For 1983, we would say nineteen eighty-three, not one thousand nine hundred eighty-three! So, twenty ten makes more sense, but I still don't think I'll be saying that!
