I am so proud of me. I tend to keep cards I make that I really like. They sit in a tray and I look at them now and then to admire. I have several groups who come to my house to buy my cards which are in the "slam dunk" trays. I would never never never let them walk out with one of my "best" cards. My friend Pat and I scoured the internet to find the folder out of Marianne's Designables series for the folder called "Romantic". We quickly found the folder had been discontinued, and by luck Pat found a small shop in another state who happened to have two of these folders left. Woot woot.... I paid
$25 for this folder and ya know what?.... I didn't care. I wanted it that bad. My first design was the little Elephant challenge a few weeks back. Here are 5 more designs using that wonderful embossing folder that also is a die cut in just the right places. I added a pink insert behind the white embossed card front so it could peek through the open areas. I cut some flowers from Walk In My Garden, and I believe the cute little blue bird is from Create a Critter... Why am I proud?...because I have given each of these cards to friends. They aren't sitting in a tray not to be shared.

And I totally relate to your stash of 'good' cards that nobody can buy, they are just for you to admire - I'm the same.!!
So, well done on making AND giving these beautiful cards to your friends - I need to take a leaf out of your book... Hugs xx
